License Plate Game App Reviews

This is an easy to use app to find state plates. Great for kids who like to have something to watch for in the car! I like the animation of the plates going up the road. The badge on the game icon is nice, indicating either how many plates you have found or have left. Great app for a long trip!

Very strainght forward game, Great entertainment for the kids on those long drives. I would highly recommend this game. Recommendations: when a plate is found having it spin around and make a sound would be very cool. Other recommendation would be if a plate is selected then hit again have a prompt confirming the reset. Great little game. Best of luck. Bruinsrme

Being that we travel by car a lot I found this app interesting and after testing it out I see it will be some nice fun for our next trip. Going over the interface its nice and smooth. Same as with scrolling a page in safari all you need to do is slide your finger and youre moving between the plates. Also as with the contacts app you can select the first letter of state for quick / faster updates. Simple interface that works well. Also I like the fact that when application is closed the icon still displays the amount of states you found. Overall I think this is some nice fun especially if you have younger children.

I dont do a whole lot of travel, but it even is fun to use anyway just by crossing off all the plates I see come though my local area. Nice scrolling of the signs, just flip through like you do your music or contacts. Great app for all ages, especially kids during a road trip.

Pretty cool app to have. Will take the boredom out of long trips. Just hope I keep my attention on the road more then I do at the back of passing cars. :D One thing I didnt like is the red number on the main screen. It makes me feel that I have an update for an App or an new letter in my email.

Its so easy to use and mark off which ones youve seen. I also like that when you close the app it shows you how many you have seen with a little bubble like for email. Worth the price.

I got this app through a free promo code giveaway. Its nice, truly. I see great potential with it. My only problem is that it does not really seem to make use of a license plate game associate. All you do is check or uncheck license plates... its not easy to see what plates you have at a moments glance, and it seems I can do the same thing with a standard checklist app. Please make it more license plate game friendly. Good app overall.

Canadian plates would make this 5 stars. The ability to save individual trips or mark the different versions of each state would also be fun.

This is a fun little app for a classic car game. It would be nice to keep track of multiple players and to count how many times a plate has been seen.

A good attempt, but too much "fluff". The road display is interesting, but too dificult to be really useful. What is needed is a simple tabular display without all the cutesy animations. Check out "State Plate Game" for a much better app that tracks license plates in an easy to read format that also includes Canadain and Mexican plates.

This app made our roadtrip so much more interesting. Would love to see an option that allows for "collecting" the different types of plates from each state.

Fun app. Only wish it incuded multiple plates for each state. Each state has so many more plates. Great for a road trip.

I purchased the application and cant use it. It shuts down a second or two after it opens. What a disappointment.

This app needs competition mode in which more than one person can see who can see more plates... The addition of the Canadian provinces would be huge too... Otherwise I like it.

Does what it says it does. Would be cool if dev added the major different designs for license plates.

I really like the simplicity of this app - BUT - I wish you had a map view!

This is a great looking and working app, it really sets the bar for all the other apps of its kind. It looks, feels, and works good. The side bar that lets you scroll through the states by letter sies not look like the standard iPhone interface and leaves out a few letters because no states start with those letters, I just personally wish it was a standard sidebar, but that I simply a personal preference, it would also be helpful if it showed fun facts and information about the states that you have found as the iPad version does. Overall, this is a very good app, I would definitely reccomend it! Also, this needs to be updated for iOS 4.

I love this app... Except I was hoping to make teams and play against my husband. Glory goes to whoever finds the most plates!!

This is a very good and useful app although I noticed it does not have New Hampshire....
